Trip Tips
A few things worth knowing before you go, specific to Sigiriya & Dambulla.
- Climb before the midday heat sets in for a cooler, more comfortable hike
- The summit stairs are steep and metal sections get hot, so wear grippy shoes
- There's little shade on the rock, so carry water, sunscreen, and sunglasses
